Tour Program:

Day 01 – Delhi: Arrival in Delhi-capital territory of country and a traditional welcome by Buddhist Tour representative. Check in to a hotel and stay for overnight.

Day 02 – Delhi / Agra: In morning transfer to railway station to board train for Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Arrival in Agra and our representative meets you and assists you to check in to a hotel. Later excursion to the Fatehpur Sikri. In evening explore Taj Mahal and red Fort and came back to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 03 – Agra / Varanasi: Transfer to airport to board flight for Varanasi. Arrival in Varanasi and check in to a hotel. Later excursion to Sarnath- a place where Lord Buddha deliver his sermons after enlightenment. Come back to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 04 – Varanasi / Bodhgaya: Get rejoices with boat ride in the morning at holy river Ganges and come back to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit topmost attractions of religious capital Varanasi as Benaras Hindu University, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Manas Mandir and Bharat Mata Temple. Afternoon drive to Bodhgaya, Bihar. Arrival in Bodhgaya and check in to a hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure and stay for overnight.

Day 05 – Bodhgaya: Visit Maha Bodhi Vihar- a Buddhist Temple and UNESCO world heritage sites. Spend rest of the day at leisure and stay overnight. Bodhgaya is the place your Siddhartha Gautama got enlightenment under tree, called as Bodhi tree.

Day 06 – Bodhgaya / Patna: Drive to Patna- capital city of the state Bihar. En-route visit Nalanda and Rajgir. On arrival check in to a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07 – Patna / Kushinagar: On the morning drive to Kushinagar via Vaishali. On arrival check in to a hotel. Visit Maha Pari Nirvana temple & Ramabhar Stupa. Came back to the hotel. Kushinagar is the place where Buddha finally got nirvana.

Day 08 – Kushinagar / Lumbini: Morning drive to Lumbini. Arrival in Lumbini, check in to a hotel. Afternoon proceed to explore Mayadevi temple, stupas and the Ashokan Pillar. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lumbini- birth place of Lord Buddha.

Day 09 – Lumbini / Balrampur: On the morning drive to Balrampur and en-route visit Kapilvastu. Spend the evening at leisure and stay overnight at the hotel in Balrampur.

Day 10 – Balrampur / Lucknow / Delhi: On the morning drive to Lucknow- capital city of the state Uttar Pradesh. En-route visit Saravasti. On arrival at Lucknow transfer to the railway station to board a train for Delhi. On arrival check in to hotel for an overnight stay in capital city.

Day 11 – Delhi: Enjoy sightseeing a tour of Delhi comprises of monuments, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Chandni Chowk, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Akshardham Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi, India.

Day 12 – Departure Delhi: Morning transfer to the International Airport to board flight for onward destination.

Gautama Buddha is son of Kapilavastu’s king Suddhodana. Buddha’s mother name is Maya. Gautama Buddha is also named as Siddhartha Gautama or Shakyamuni. Vesak is a Buddhist festival which celebrates Buddhist monks. Vesak is known as Buddha Purnima and Buddha Day.
