Buddhism is a big religion in all over the world having more than 1.6 billion followers. Beginning of Buddhist religion is in India. Buddhism is started by Gautam Buddha. Gautama Buddha is son of Kapilavastu’s king Suddhodana. Buddha’s mother name is Maya. Gautama Buddha is also named as Siddhartha Gautama or Shakyamuni. Vesak is a Buddhist festival which celebrates Buddhist monks. Vesak is known as Buddha Purnima and Buddha Day.
